Amerikaanse Indianen zijn mogelijk Turken

Onderzoek wijst uit dat Amerikaanse Indianen mogelijk oorspronkelijk Turks van origine zijn. Op een conferentie deze week georganiseerd door de Turkse Alumni Association kwamen wetenschappers van diverse pluimage bij elkaar om dit verhaal, dat in Turkse kringen al langer de ronde doet, te onderschrijven. De volgende mensen zaten in het panel van de conferentie: Brian Paterson, United South and Eastern Tribes & Bear Clan representatief voor de Oneida Indian Nation’s Men’s Council en Clan Mothers, Professor Timur KocaoÄŸlu, Michigan State University, Professor Türker ÖzdoÄŸan, George Washington University, Professor Marjorie Mandelstam Balzer, Georgetown University’s Anthropologie en Archeologie van Eurasia Department en Associate Professor Carol Chiago Lujan, Arizona State University’s founding director of the American Indian Studies Program.

In Turkije is het een welbekend feit dat de Turkse en de Indianen talen veel overeenkomstige woorden bevatten. De Franse Linguist Dumesnil heeft meer dan 300 Turkse woorden gevonden in de Amerikaanse indianentaal: Türe and Töre (Traditie), Yanunda and Yanında (Dichtbij), Atış and Ateş (vuur) om er maar ene paar te noemen.

De befaamde Russische geneticus Ilya Zakharov heeft in 1998 geexclameerd dat hij erg dichtbij het traceren van de origines van de Amerikaanse indianen was, gebaseerd op zijn genetische studies van het Tuvan volk in Siberie. Zakharov zei dat hij een DNA link had gevonden tussen de Amerikaanse indianen en het Tuvan volk, en hij wees erop dat het Tuvan volk voornamelijk uit Turkse nomaden bestaat die kamelen, yaks, schapen, geiten en rendieren hoeden.

Brian Paterson beweerde echter dat de link mogelijk andersom was: dat Turken van oorsprong Amerikaanse Indianen zijn die op een of andere wijze in Azie beland zijn. Zijn visie kon echter niet op bijzonder veel bijval rekenen.

Daar word tot nu toe in Amerika steeds over gediscucieerd met Non-Natives over dit nog altijd gevoelig begrip. Ik vraag mij soms af waar men de informatie haalt, of over de denkwijze omtrent dit alles.Ikzelf ben een afstammeling van de Toengoezen Evenken uit Siberië, en heb en had altijd Shamanen in mijn Familie. Zodus ben ik dan ook in die bloedlijn geboren. Mijn Voorouders zijn vanuit Siberië zo naar Rusland,Oekrainen,Polen waar mijn Vader is geboren, en zo naar andere Landen getrokken zelfs tot in Amerika.Ik heb dan ook een hechte band met de Native American Indians, want wij hebben veel gemeen. Shamaan is een woord dat snel word uitgesproken, maar dat men zelden of niet kan worden. Daar gaan vele jaren van leren,offers brengen, alleen zijn,helpen, nederig leven zonder bezig te zijn met zichzelf op de eerste plaats. Velen zijn geroepen, maar weinigen zijn uitverkorenen. Alleen maar een boekje lezen over Shamanisme is geen optie. Over één ding valt er niet te twijfelen. We zijn allemaal één waar we ook leven op onze Moeder Aarde. Wees gelukkig en tevreden. Peace.
