  • Spider-Man v. The Cops
    No matter how much I think the Spider-Man reboot is utterly unnecessary, I have to admit it looks like a lot of fun: A couple of thoughts: I’m relieved that the movie is acknowledging that someone other than the scientific community, riders of random subway cars, and J. Jonah Jameson notice that a dude in […]

Een rare man.

Kees Ceelen

The desert of love

When I see her,
words build a nest in my mouth.

I can’t sing. My head’s an egg.
The sun’s brooding on my neck.

I will eat my way
through her, some day, like

a dead man
would eat through
a fata morgana,

slowly, leaving nothing
to the begging wind.

How the
living howl
of living.

Juchjuchjuch-juheirassa

Am Dorfrand steht e Brunne,
de Schwengel is schun hohl;
dee wee gar viel zu plausche
vun anno-dazumol.
Vun Liebe in de Heednacht
mit Bussle ohni Zahl,
vun Trne, die im Kummer
sin in de Brunne gfall.
De Werner schmaichelt s Susi,
de Holler blieht am Tor,
er htschelt s un verttschelt s
un fischpelt m ins Ohr:

Spitz mer doch dei Milche her,
kerschesieer Schatz,
uf deim Pipatschmilche do
htt jo meins grad Platz.
Schlaat de Rampasch Porzelbaam
in de Fsser drin,
juchjuchjuch-juheirassa,
mu die Hochzeit sin!

Am Sunntach spielt die Musich,
de Schwartematz haut nin;
im Saal e nrrisch Trille,
da Hoor un Fetze fliejn.
De Erwin schubst es Gunde,
de Horsti biejt s Marei;
die Hnd un Haxe zawwle,
klingt s mol modern un nei.
Es Bier schoomt aus de Flasche,
es brennt so manches Ohr,
doch wann de Trummler inschlaat,
noh singe all im Chor:

Spitz mer doch die Milche her,
kerschesieer Schatz…
