Loewak as a publisher and medium is a different sort of Blog hoster. Why are we different? Well first of all: we want to create an actually intelligent medium, meaning we shift and select the people who could write for us just as a normal newspaper would do. Why is this a good idea?

We want to create a medium that is highly intelligent which will be able to actually compete with regular media. This is impossible in a fragmented environment where either everyone only works for himself or where the intellectuals are all creating free content for a big capitalist machine like facebook. That’s why we set up this idea. We do not expect either you or we will get rich from it or anything like that, we simply want to create something that stands out and is a good alternative. We want to focus on science, art, health, politics and literature.
