The Knight of Swords:

The Knight of Swords rules the last 10 degrees of Taurus and the first 20 degrees of Gemini. He represents the Fire of Air, which is basically the idea of attack. Thoughts come through him as a fire, as a divine inspiration, and he sees it as his mission to directly impose them on the world without contemplating them first. Such contemplation depresses him because it would question teh divinity of the source of the thought – that’s why he is reluctant to actually investigate any thought chain extensively and he rather accept them as coming from a divine source.

Person ruled by this card are therefore usually stern moralists, who always know how other people should behave, finger pointers who will tell you the divine judgement, masters of morality.
The higher forms of this card, who have mastered this defect, will probably be excellent debaters and strategists. The Symbol of the Knight of Swords is a storm. They often have great mental unrest, which they seek to compensate by disturbing the peace of others. He is the Spirit of the Tempest, stern, severe, righteous. When his righteousness is questioned he enrages in fury.

Persons who are ruled by the Knight of Swords are active and skilful, always plotting mental plans. They are subtle and clever and drawn towards a psychological and moralitic interpretation of the world. They are fierce, delicate and courageous, but they have great trouble reflecting upon their own ideas, which come to them as ‘divine inspirations’.

When the divine source of his ideas is questioned by himself he becomes totally negative, incapable of action, full of doubts. He will therefore be very reluctant to actually examine himself from fear of getting depressed, for his formula is that of divine inspiration.
