The Queen of Cups:

The Queen of Cups rules from the last 10 degrees of Gemini to the first 20 degrees of Cancer. She represents the Water of Water. She is therefore almost completely tranquile and will reflect the nature of the observer in great detail. She is like a calm lake or mirror you are looking in, capable of reflecting your deepest feelings, but that’s why she appears deeper than she actually is: what you are seeing is your own reflection, not her real characteristic.

She is standing on the waters of a lake with an Ibis bird by her side and a lotus flower in her hand. In her other hand she hold a fish shaped chalice in which a scorpion arises. Her image is that of beauty and tranquility, but this again might be the nature of the observer. The qualities of this character on its own are pretty much dreaminess, illusion and tranquillity. They will be people who are as slippy as a handful of water, who seem very understanding and bright but are in fact just mediators of energy: they do not have much personality of their own usually.

Because of this they have great talent to be a medium, and interceptor of the divine. She is the perfect agent and patient, able to receive and transmit everything without herself being affected thereby. She will place great importance on dreams and visions and perhaps be able to receive those, but she won’t be able to initiate any active involvement in reshaping reality.

She is extremely easily influenced by external influences and hardly ever will be seen without company, because without companyt she feels she is empty, which is pretty much true, for she is pretty much shaped by the images that are reflected in her.
