The Knight of Disks rules from the 20th degree of Leo to the 20th degree of Virgo. He is a Knight in full armour and he represents the Fiery part of Earth. It’s the symbolism of the volcano and of Lava, of the burning earth: slow but all destructive if moving. The Knight has a harvester in his hand, he represents the reaping of the fields, the reaping of the awards of the earth. In his hand he holds a giant shield that deflects the sun rays.

The characters of person ruled by this card are mostly passive and defensive. They are interested in action only in regard to material matters, their mission is to reap the fruits of the earth. You will therefore often see that they love collecting earthly things: their urge to collect will almost be insatiable. They will develop a critical mind to be able to properly judge what must be reaped and what not: in this the represent the early death in nature, the death of the August heat.

On his helmet there is the symbol of a stag, symbolizing fertility. He is riding through fertile lands, even in the distant there are cultivated fields. People characterized by this card are developing their critical abilities, but without the balance of Libra yet, so the criticism is mainly there to reap benefits of the earth and to produce new crops later.

The Knight of Cups is the Sun manifested in the Earthly realm: steady, reliable, impenetrable. These people will be naturally very defensive and hard-to-get-through, but once you have find a way to open them they will show you all the riches of this world.
